NFF Appoints Rohr Super Eagles Coach

August 5, 2016

Gernot Rohr

German tactician, Gernot Rohr, has been appointed by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) as the new Manager of Super Eagles.

Rohr is expected to take charge of the country’s national football team after Frenchman, Paul Le Guen earlier rejected the same offer.

The new coach is expected to be in Nigeria on Saturday, August 6, 2016, to meet with the federation and formally seal the deal.

Rohr, all things being equal, would be unveiled on Monday, August 8, 2016, in Abuja, to the public.

However, before then, the German coach will watch a league match between Ikorodu United and Sunshine Stars in Lagos.

Rohr, before his appointment, worked on development programmes for the German Football Federation.
