A former Secretary to the Adamawa State Government, John Eddie Manassah, has been reported dead.
Mr Manassah, according to reports, died on Wednesday morning in Yola, the state capital.
Eldest son of the late politician, Yangadi Mannassah John, who confirmed the news, did not disclose the cause of his father’s demise.
Mr Manassah was Secretary to the State Government during the administrations of Boni Haruna and Admiral Murtala Nyako.
He was also the running mate to Brigadier General Buba Marwa (rtd), who contested the governorship election in 2012 under the platform of the defunct Congress for Progressive Change (CPC), which later merged with other parties to form the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
