Nigerian youths have been challenged to take the full advantage of their training to improve themselves and contribute to the development of the country.

Minister of State for Education, Professor Anthony Anwuka, made this charge when he received leaders and youths from Oguta and Ohaji Communities in Imo State.

During the courtesy visit to his office in Abuja, Prof Anwuka decried the rate at which the youths see themselves as errand boys to politicians.

He pointed out that the trend portrays them as counterproductive and burden on the economy of the country.

He challenged them to embrace the change agenda of President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration policy on agriculture and improve their status and the economy.

Leader of the delegation and member of the Imo State House of Assembly, Mr Henry Ezediano, said the visit aimed at conferring with the Minister on the adequate federal presence in the area.

Other members of the delegation include member representing Ohaji/Ogbena in the State House of Assembly, Mr Emma-Okorie; a member of the State Oil Producing Communities Development Commission and a Public Affairs Analyst, Mr Athony Akunneme.
