Residents of Lagos have been urged to endeavour to partake in the registration exercise by the Lagos State Residents Registration Agency (LASRRA).
The agency said one of the requirements for members of Mudano community in Epe Local Government Area to get considered for compensation on their land acquired by the State government is their LASRRA registration cards.
This was disclosed by the agency’s team leader and supervisor for Epe, Mr Sheriff Tobun, during a continuous residents’ registration exercise in the community.
He added that the importance attached to the on-going registration programme across the State by the present administration cannot be overemphasized.
Mr Tobun stated that registration cards would be issued to residents free of charge.
LASRRA was established by Law in year 2011by the State Government to identify and register all residents of Lagos State for efficient planning and allocation of resources.
