The ‘Peak Can Do More’ (PECADOMO) awareness campaign by Peak Milk is penetrating more markets across the country.
The PECADOMO campaign was launched few weeks ago by Freisland Campina WAMCO Plc, makers of Nigeria’s premier milk brand.
The initiative is aimed at enlightening Nigerians on other ways to consume milk, which is good for the body.
Business Post learnt that the campaign train would reach eight major markets around the Lagos metropolis.
Already, the campaign has gone to the popular Agege market on September 8, where consumers were introduced to other uses of the milk brand besides tea and beverages.
The train has also moved to Mushin market, Justrite Supermarket in Abule-Egba, Grocery Bazaar in Igando, The Palms at Lekki and the Ikeja City Mall.
Markets at Ikotun, Iyana-Ipaja and Ikorodu markets would be touched by the campaign team before heading to other major markets across the country.
The Peak PECADOMO” campaign will run for six weeks and would reach markets at Sango and Kuto in Abeokuta, Shoprite Cocoa Mall in Ibadan, Oja Oba market in Akure, Baboko market in Ilorin, Mission Road market in Benin City, Igbudu market in Warri, Relief market in Onitsha, Mile 1 market in Port-Harcourt, Nyong Essien market, Uyo and Eziukwu market, Aba.
Some of the consumers, who have experienced the campaign in Lagos, narrated their encounters.
A weave-on seller in Agege market, Mrs Nkechi Uwakwe, remarked that, “When we saw the Peak Milk people in the market, we were very excited. At first, I thought they wanted to just advertise their brand, but they actually taught us how to cook different foods with Peak milk. It was very nice because I learnt a lot.”
Mrs Shalom Preye, who is a lawyer and also a consumer, stated that, “I was at the mall with my kids and one of them pointed me towards the Peak Milk stand. It is very impressive what Peak milk is doing by making Nigerians learn other culinary uses of milk besides drinking. I like that and plan to incorporate the new tips to my cooking.”
