A secure, verifiable online voting solution for governmental elections has been launched by Smartmatic.
The new platform is called TIVI and it is aimed at providing the strongest assurance of election integrity of any online voting solution available at the moment.
TIVI is the only online voting solution in the world that allows universal digital verifiability to prove the integrity of the vote, from the point of casting to counting. Utilising advanced cryptographic technique, it guarantees voter privacy and vote security.
It has been engineered to meet the needs of Election Management Bodies seeking to enfranchise overseas and ex-pat voters, modernize traditional forms of remote voting and to reduce the challenges typically associated with election participation from remote environments.
TIVI is the result of a strategic partnership between Smartmatic and Cybernetica, the cyber security corporation responsible for developing the Estonian Internet voting solution used in eight nationwide elections since 2005.
