Acting Managing Director of the Bank of Industry (BoI), Mr Waheed Olagunju, has expressed the bank’s readiness to partner entrepreneurs in fitting its funding to achieving greater economic impact.

Mr Olagunju said that the BoI had simplified the loan application and approval process by taking it online and eliminating time-wasting trips to various office locations across the country.

He disclosed this via the bank’s Divisional Head, Small and Medium Enterprises, South, Mr Mohammed Abdul-Ganiyu.

The BoI boss urged customers and would-be beneficiaries to approach the bank with inputs that would enable it to serve them optimally.

“We also commissioned business development service providers to help our customers prepare loan applications in order to ensure a higher level of approvals and engaged audit experts to assist customers to prepare audit records,” he was quoted to have said.

According to Mr Olagunju, the BoI remains committed to helping young entrepreneurs realise their dreams of building their own businesses and creating job opportunities.

He said the bank has already trained 868 members of the National Youth Service Corps under the N2 billion Graduate Entrepreneurship Fund.
