Sunlight Detergent Excites Abuja Consumers With ‘Laraba’s World’

Sunlight’s Laraba’s World train has been visiting malls across Abuja to meet with loyal consumers and the experiences have been wonderful.

Last weekend, the train was at the Silverbird Mall in Abuja, where consumers had so much fun as they engaged in activities to win various prizes.

They also had the opportunity to meet with Nafisat Abdulhamid (Hajia Hadiza in the drama series).

This weekend, the Sunlight Laraba’s World train will be at Ceddi Plaza also in Abuja this Saturday, October 8 and Sunday, October 9.

Consumers would have the opportunity to meet with the cast and crew members of the show and other Kannywood celebrities.

They will also participate in a lucky pick and win instant prizes such as washing machines and bedside fridges.

 ‘Laraba’s World’ is a drama series courtesy Unilever Plc, makers of Sunlight detergent, which started airing on TV screens across northern Nigeria from September 15, 2016. It showcases the daily lives of northern women in an engaging and entertaining way.

The Hausa language (with English subtitles) soap opera, revolves around the lead character, Laraba (a school teacher) who is wise, resourceful and versatile; a real “Sunlight woman”.

In each episode, Laraba highlights how a Sunlight woman grows her home, business and community by handling common daily issues with wisdom and resourcefulness.
