The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Skye Bank earlier slated for Thursday, October 13, 2016, has been postponed.

According to Skye Bank, the event was shifted to enable external auditors complete an Interim Audit of the Bank.

It was disclosed that the process was in the final stages.

To this effect, Skye Bank Plc has notified shareholders on the receipt of regulatory approval to postpone the AGM.

“The postponement of the AGM is necessitated by the need to give our external auditors time to complete an Interim Audit of the Bank which is in the final stages.

“The AGM will be rescheduled at the appropriate time. We also wish to assure you of our commitment to good governance and prompt disclosures and will apprise you of the new AGM date in due course,” Skye Bank disclosed.
