General Overseer of the Living Faith Church Worldwide fondly called Winners Chapel, Bishop David Oyedepo, has disclosed that the high fees charged by the church-owned tertiary institution, Covenant University in Ota, Ogun State, was approved by God.

According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), the respected cleric has therefore warned critics to desist from attacking the church or risk the wrath of God.

Mr Oyedepo said those who fail to stop criticising the high school fees of Covenant University would be struck with a strange plague of chronic mouth odour.

According to him, one of such critics only received spiritual pardon following his confession and “my intervention before he was restored to dignity.”

The man of God, in a telecast to a pre-Shiloh 2016 Convention gathering of the church monitored via satellite in Jos on Saturday, noted that critics were acting in ignorance and risked incurring the wrath of God.

He said fee charged by the school was purely a godly agenda to meet the demands of raising godly children in an environment conducive for learning.

“The school fees has God’s approval and is in accordance with the quality of facilities provided by the university in meeting the educational needs of the nation,” Mr Oyedepo said.

He then prayed for resources for parents to always meet the demands of the time and declared the theme of this year’s Shiloh holding between December 6 and December 10, 2016 as “My Case is Different”.

Quoting from some verses of the Bible, which included Matthew 24:6-8, 1Peter 2:9, Joel 2:2 and Mal. 4:1, the Bishop said the current economic meltdown was predicted, noting that only devoted Christians would be exempted.

He said this year’s annual event of Shiloh would not be advertised as past events as it would be church based.
