The management of Kaduna Electric has announced that it plans to disrupt power supply to its customers for two hours to carry out maintenance on its facilities.

A statement issued by the company on Friday explained that its team of engineers are planning to “carry out an amendment on a vandalized line behind Mando Transmission switchyard in Kaduna.”

Due to this, Kaduna Electric stated, there would be power outage “between 8:00 am to 10:00 am on Saturday, November 19, 2016.”

The statement further disclosed that the areas to be “affected by the outage are: 33KV Doka Feeder, 33KV Abakpa Feeder and 33KV Water Works Feeder” and would be “out within the outage period for safe working space.”

However, Kaduna Electric “sincerely apologized for the inconveniences the planned outage will cause our esteemed customers.”

The company assured its “esteemed customers that normal power supply will be restored as soon as the amendment on the vandalized line is concluded.”
