Ambode To Present 2017 Budget Tomorrow

Governor Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos Satte will on Tuesday, November 29, 2016, present to the state House of Assembly the 2017 appropriation bill for approval.

This information was made known via a statement issued on Sunday by the Director of Public Affairs of the Assembly, Ms Bose Lambo.

According to Ms Lambo, the presentation would commence at 10am at the Assembly.

“Year 2017 Budget Estimates Presentation by His Excellency, Mr Akinwunmi Ambode, Governor of Lagos State will hold on Tuesday, Nov. 29 at the Assembly Chambers, Assembly Complex, Alausa, Ikeja,” the statement said.

It would be recalled that in December 2016, Mr Ambode presented to the Assembly the 2016 budget of N662.58 billion for approval.

Since coming to office in May 2015, Mr Ambode has enjoyed a cordial relationship with the state Assembly.
