A three-day retreat has been planned for civil servants in Lagos State from Wednesday, November 30, to Friday, December 2, 2016.

The programme is organised by the Lagos State Civil Service Commission and it is for its management staff to enhance their skills in strategic planning.

According to the Permanent Secretary, Mrs Toyin Awoseyi, the retreat is themed ‘Efficiency, Effectiveness and Strategic Planning: A Veritable Tool for Organisational Success.’

She said the forum is aimed at focussing on strategic planning and execution topics that would enable Civil Service Commission personnel rank at par with their counterparts across the globe and it would take place at Westown Hotel, Ikeja.

The Civil Service Commission had embarked on a similar retreat for junior staff cadre to ensure that staffers are familiar with current trends in strategic planning to boost performance within the state Civil Service.
