A Brazilian company, Tramontina Nigeria, has launched some agricultural products with the aim of improving the sector in Nigeria.

According to the Marketing and Sales Executive of the company in Nigeria, Funbi Sowande, Tramontina’s machete is the trusted brand among farmers.

“We are not called the king of machete for fun; Tramontina products are different and unique from other products,” Sowande said.

The company executive noted that Tramontina is known for producing 18,000 different products in household and agriculture tools, home ware products, furniture and kitchen equipment.

At the launch in Lagos, the company promised to keep producing quality products.

“The amazing cutting power of our machetes guarantees higher productivity when using the product while the shovels are made with very resistant laser cut body and high quality carbon steel,” she said at the launch.

“They are made with the best quality carbon steel and they are sold already well sharpened,” she said.

According to her, “The idea is for our loving customers to relate with our brand, we also shared directly with them the brand’s identity and the unlimited opportunities we have to offer.

“With the successes recorded since we first established our first unit in 1911, our brand is available in more than 120 countries and with Nigeria, we hope to push it beyond expectations and make it a household name in Nigeria.”
