After much anticipation, the 2017 Cowbell Summer Camp Football Academy for children has finally commenced.
The programme is for children between the ages of five to 18 and it attracts several lads from different parts of the country.
Information reaching us disclosed that the 2017 Cowbell Summer Camp Football Academy kicked off on Monday, July 24.
The academy, which holds at the National Stadium in Surulere, Lagos, gives children the opportunity to hone their skills and as well interact with other kids, thereby building bonds among lads from different tribes and nationalities.
At the flag off of this summer programme on Monday were the Rector of Cowbell Football Academy, Mr Dudu Orumen, who is a renowned sports journalist and administrator.
Also at the commencement of this year’s programme was Rev. Samuel Ikpea, National Chairman, Nigeria Football Supporter’s Club; Dr Rafiu Ladipo, President-General, Nigeria Football Supporters Club; and Andrew Enahoro, Head, Legal and Public Relations, Promasidor Nigeria.
