GTBank Appoints Adefala as Director

Mrs Victoria Osondu Adefala has been appointed as an Independent non-Executive Director of Guaranty Trust Bank (GTBank) Plc.

The appointment was announced today by the bank in a statement signed by its scribe, Erhi Obebeduo.

GTBank said the appointment of Mrs Adefala has been approved by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) as well as the board of the firm.

Mrs Adefala, according to the statement, is a seasoned professional with over 24 years’ work experience which cuts across the financial, manufacturing and transportation industry as well as the

legal profession.

She has worked with African Chamber of Commerce, Houston, Texas; Michelin Nigeria Limited; and Alstom Nigeria.

Mrs Adefala was the Country President and Managing Director of Alstom Nigeria up till 2016, when she set up the WHITGIFT Law firm, where she is the Managing Partner.

She has served on the board of other reputable companies.
