One of the non-executive directors of Neimeth International Pharmaceuticals Plc, Sir Godfrey Nnamdi Ohuabunwa, has resigned from the firm.
Sir Ohuabunwa, according to a statement issued by Neimeth, left the company as its non-executive director on Wednesday, July 19, 2017.
Explaining the motive behind this move, the firm said Sir Ohuabunwa was lately finding it very difficult to combine his role at the company with his other commitments.
“The board of directors of Neimeth International Pharmaceuticals Plc announces the resignation of its non-executive director, Sir Godfrey Nnamdi Ohuabunwa.
“He joined the company’s board as a non-executive director in February 2004.
“His resignation was necessitated by his increasing schedules which no longer avaliled him time to combine other commitments with the responsibilities of a non-executive director of the company, hence his resignation on July 19, 2017,” the statement said.
Meanwhile, the company, in the same statement, stated that, “The board wishes him (Sir Ohuabunwa) success in his future endeavours.”
