Firm Rolls out Fixed Income Analytics Report for Nigerian Bonds

By Quantitative Financial Analytics

Quantitative Financial Analytics Limited has rolled out its Bond Analytics Report, which provides a robust bond analytics on Nigerian Sovereign and corporate as well as Savings bonds.

It is a solid fixed income derived data which allows bond investors to efficiently manage their portfolio and test investment strategies. It also provides fund managers with the necessary data to efficiently control the risk associated with fixed income portfolios.

According to President of the company, Uche Ndimele, the analytics report is unique because it has almost all that investors need to make decisions on their bond positions already precalculated.

With the analytics, investors will be able to know when the next coupon will be paid, how much interest has been accrued on a bond as at report date, the number of days’ interest has been accrued since the last coupon date, the annual coupon on a bond, how many years before a bond matures, the Yield to Maturity on a bond, and the current Yield among others.

It also comes with maturity alert letting an investor know if a bond will mature soon which helps in cash flow planning. The analytics also presents with a bond simulation tab that lets investors simulate the value of actual bond holdings by changing just one cell on the excel spreadsheet.

The risk Analytics section of the report captured by bond duration, convexity and PV01 all work together to show how a basis point change in yield will affect a bond position.

The Glossary that comes with the report explains some of the concepts or data points on the analytics report making it even more understandable to users.

The report which is deliverable the next day at 2am (GMT) as an excel file is only available upon request and obtainable from [email protected]
