CBN Holds 259th MPC Meeting Next Monday

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has announced its intention to hold its Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) meeting on Monday, November 20, 2017.

The meeting, which would be the 259th edition, will take place at the MPC Meeting Room, 11th Floor, Wing C, CBN Corporate Headquarters, Abuja.

It will hold for two days and will have in attendance members of the committee.

According to a statement issued by the apex bank today, the MPC meeting will take place on Monday, November 20, 2017 by 10am and on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 by 8am.

During the meeting, members of the committee will consider the various economic parameters, especially its rate, which has been left at 14 percent for months.

After deliberations, the committee will inform the media of its resolutions and announce its decision on the rate, which observers believed would still be retained at 14 percent.
