Nigerian Breweries Board Meets for Dividend Payment, Financial Results

Leading beer maker in the country, Nigerian Breweries Plc, has announced that its board of directors would meet next month to look into the company’s financial statements for the year ended December 31, 2017.

The meeting is slated for Tuesday, February 13, 2018, in Lagos.

During the gathering, the board would approve the brewer’s financial results for the 2017 fiscal year and also propose the payment of dividend for the 2017 financial year end.

“We hereby notify the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) that a meeting of the Board of Directors of our company has been scheduled for Tuesday, February 13, 2018.

“One of the items on the agenda is the consideration and approval of the Audited Financial Statements of the company for the year ended December 31, 2017. Also to be considered is a proposal for the payment of dividend.

“The NSE will be notified of the details accordingly,” the statement issued by the brewer yesterday disclosed.
