MRS Oil Nigeria Appoints John Chibueze as Director

One of the oil firms operating in the country, MRS Oil Nigeria Plc, has announced the appointment of Mr John Ugochukwu Chibueze as a Director of the company effective February 22, 2018.

A statement by the company yesterday disclosed that the appointment of Mr Chibueze was approved by the Board of Directors of MRS Oil Nigeria during its meeting held on Thursday, February 22, 2018.

Mr Chibueze is a highly respected business leader with extensive local, regional and international legal transaction and “C-suite” management experience.

He studied law and graduated from the University of Nigeria and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2003. He has acquired extensive expertise in international project finance, (upstream, midstream and downstream) oil and gas and (renewable and non-renewable) power sector transactions and practice.

With over 15 years post-call experience, Mr Chibueze has led some of the largest multi-jurisdictional transactions across the energy and finance sectors in the African emerging market.

He is a Partner at the law firm of Adepetun Caxton Martins Agbor & Segun and is locally and internationally reputed as a subject matter expert in Nigerian law.
