No fewer than four persons have been feared dead during a suicide attack in Bama area of Borno State on Sunday morning.

Two suicide bombers were killed in the early morning attack, while two persons worshipping at a mosque in the town were also slain by the terrorists.

The terrorists were suspected to be members of the Boko Haram sect, who stormed a mosque around Bama Dina area of Shehuri /Mairi/ Hausari ward of Bama Local Government Area of Borno State.

According to eyewitnesses, the suicide bombers were among worshippers praying at the mosque at about 5am today and after a while, they detonated the Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) strapped to their body, killing at least two persons.

Bama is about 70 kilometers away from Maiduguri, the state capital where many of its Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) who spent not less than four years in resettlement camps in Maiduguri relocated back early April and starts picking up their pieces after massive reconstruction and rehabilitation of destroyed houses and infrastructures by government.
