Lagos-based world-class inspection, training and rope access company, JC International, has strengthened its authority and dominance in the sector with the recent endorsement received from Vallourec, a firm which has the most renowned certifications.

This was after the company met the conditions set by Vallourec Technical Specifications for Inspection Companies (TSIC).

The certification qualifies JC International as a Drilling Inspection Workshop Level II for Drilling Equipment and Rotary Shouldered Connections.

The management of JC International explained that it went for the certification as part of its commitment to continually meet and exceed customers’ expectations.

According to the Head of Business Development, OCTG, JC International, Mr Olukorede Oluremi, the certification will strengthen the company’s capacity to respond to market demands and bridge the service gap in the industry.

He said further that it would enhance the authority and dominance of JC International in DS 1, CAT 4 and CAT 5 (for drill pipes) and overall Inspection capabilities in  API RP5A5, API RP5CT (for casing and tubing); DS1 CAT 3-5 (for BHA); and API RP7G, 7K and 8B (for drilling and hoisting equipment).

“Vallourec is a world leader in premium tubular solutions. This feat has further endorsed our capacity as a company to provide best-in-class Tubular Inspection services to the Oil and Gas industry in Nigeria and other African countries,” he said in the statement obtained by Business Post.
