Publiseer Music Streams Across Digital Stores Hit 1.5m

Music acts at Publiseer are currently celebrating following the digital content distribution company’s giant leap in the business of distributing and monetizing their works across Africa.

The music aggregator have recently released its subscription streaming numbers in excess of 1.5 million streams, as garnered from the amazing variety of contents on hundreds of digital stores worldwide.

This comes barely a year into the business of digital content distribution and monetization, with the mission of promoting the creativity of the African people to the rest of the world.

The digital content distributor reported 1,400,376 subscription streaming and 124,762 ad-supported streaming, totalling 1,525,138 monetized music streaming across all digital platforms, including iTunes, Apple Music, Spotify, Deezer, Amazon Music, Pandora and Google Play Music.

Other figures include 38,254 track download, 130,401 in locker service, 2,535 ad-supported radio, 1,555 in breakage, and 16,069 in unmonetized music streaming.

 To mark this milestone, the company will be introducing its distribution services for audiobooks and music videos.

Publiseer is a digital publishing platform tailored to meet the growing needs of independent African writers and musicians from low-income communities. Nevertheless, Publiseer is home to several A-list Nigerian musicians, DJs and producers, international musical artists and famous writers.

As of writing, the profitable company has distributed and monetized over 500 creative works of over 250 writers and musicians worldwide.
