Kogi East 2019: Coalition of Political Parties Backs Adoji for Senate

A coalition of all political parties in Kogi State has endorsed the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Kogi East Senate aspirant, Dr Victor Alewo Adoji.

The endorsement was done last Saturday at Mr Adoji’s declaration ceremony in Olamaboro by Chairman of Coalition of Political Parties in Nigeria (CPPN), Kogi State chapter, Mr Itodo.

According to Mr Itodo, Kogi East has found a worthy ambassador in Mr Adoji, urging Kogi East electorate to support the banker’s quest to represent the area in the red chamber.

“Over the years, we have sent our third eleven to represent us at the Senate and they have made a mess of the opportunities, that was why I had to throw my hat into the ring in the 2015 senatorial election. But with Adoji in the race now, all we should do is provide support for him to emerge because we know he has the capacity to deliver on his mandate.

“Dr Victor Alewo Adoji is intelligent, proactive, humane and one of the front-runners in the struggle to move Kogi East from the pitiable situation we are in today to a more conducive atmosphere we can all be proud of.

“We cannot miss this chance of sending one of our best, Victor is one of our best and will do well as a Senator,” he said.

Mr Itodo was the senatorial candidate of Labour Party in the 2015 general elections and the subsequent rerun election.

In collaboration with Nigerian National Volunteer Service Diaspora Affairs, Mr Itodo presented a certificate of endorsement and passed a vote of confidence on Mr Adoji.
