2019: Forte Oil Chief Femi Otedola to Contest Lagos Guber Under PDP

Reports reaching us indicate that Chairman of Forte Oil Plc, one of the companies listed on the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE), Mr Femi Otedola, will contest the governorship election in Lagos State next year.

Publisher of The Boss newspaper and the popular Ovation Magazine, Mr Dele Momodu, disclosed on Tuesday that Mr Otedola will hope to unseat the incumbent Governor of Lagos State, Mr Akinwunmi Ambode.

The business mogul will reportedly fly the flag of the opposition party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

“Lagos 2019 promises to be interesting. PDP offers Femi Otedola governorship ticket. He’s accepted and personally confirmed to The Boss newspaper,” Mr Momodu posted via his verified Twitter handle on Tuesday afternoon.
