Former President of Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), Mr Rotimi Oladele, has disclosed that former Minister of Finance, Mrs Kemi Adeosun, who resigned last Friday for being in possession of a fake NYSC exemption certificate, should not be prosecuted for the crime, but rather be pardoned.

In a statement signed by him to SpyeTV, Mr Oladele said, “To the question whether Kemi Adeosun should be prosecuted, my answer is NOT at all because she has commenced repudiation cycle of Reputation management.

“She should be guided by a PR coach to complete the cycle and bounce into the future with emblem of global first African Politician to volunteer confession, remorse, regret, acceptance and confirmation of allegation and immediate resignation thereafter.”

“Note also her background and effort made genuinely to come back home which was compromised by her trusted fellows regarding d process and procedure of getting NYSC certificate,” the PR expert said.

Mr Oladele however noted that there are PR recommended steps to be taken to complete the cycle for her to reap the great rewards of her humility, simplicity, objectivity and sincerity. She could be given PRO.

In the statement, Mr Oladele congratulated and saluted the courage displayed by the former Minister by resigning her appointment.
