Ahead of its brand refresh, foremost Nigerian life insurance specialist company, African Alliance Insurance Plc, has moved its headquarters from its former Marina location to the heart of Ikoyi in Lagos State.

It was gathered that the decision to move the insurer’s headquarters to Ikoyi was propelled by the pressing need for business expansion and re-positioning the brand for success in the 21st century. It is one of the many activities that would follow in the last quarter of the year as the company rolls out its newly refreshed look and activities.

Information at our disposal disclosed that this is the company’s major brand refresh since its inception, elevating it from a life insurance specialist to a company focused on providing convenient and superior customer service to its vast array of customers.

Currently ranked as one of the top three brands in the life insurance space in the country, the brand refresh will focus on embracing digital channels and processes driven by technology for more efficient policy purchase and renewal, as well as claims settlement.

Commenting on the latest development, MD/CEO of African Alliance Insurance Plc, Mrs Funmi Omo, disclosed that, “As a financial services company fending for one of the most important needs of every Nigerian, it has become imperative that we catch up quickly with the wave of technology in the business world.

“What we have begun doing is taking the conversation to the customers, rather than the other way around. We want to ensure that our customers are well served and protected, and most importantly, that they have no cause for worries as they go about their daily lives.”
