The Head of Strategic Communications and Media at Union Bank of Nigeria Plc, Ms Motola Oyebanjo, has ported to Lafarge Africa Plc, where she is now the firm’s Head of Corporate Communications, Business Post has confirmed.
In a message last month, the talented media strategists said, “It’s a wrap! For two and a half years, I have had the privilege of telling the stories of the Stallion’s journey of transformation. Now, it’s time to say goodbye.”
Some days later, she said, “Lafarge is helping to build better, stronger cities all across the world. Homes where new generations will be birthed and schools and universities where they will be nurtured. Offices that will be the future work place of thousands, cultural centres where history will be preserved and state houses, bridges, airports, hotels and ports that will drive economic growth for this generation and beyond. It will be my pleasure to tell this new story.”
While at Union Bank Plc, Ms Oyebanjo helped in building the financial institution’s brand and was a critical part of the lender’s 100th anniversary last year.
Before joining Lafarge, she had worked with top brands like Unilever, Kia Motors, Australian Trade Commission, British Council, Haansbro Confectioneries, NISSAN Motors, UKEAS, amongst others.
