NASD Shows Commitment to Growth of SMEs in Nigeria

Recently, reputable business news platform, Business Day Newspaper, organised a programme to honour the top 100 fastest growing SME’s in Nigeria.

With the mindset that SMEs remain essential component in the fabric of every economy, NASD Plc made it a point of importance to attend the award ceremony.

The event was graced by SMEs, as well as, business leaders from various sectors across Nigeria, including Uyi Akpata (Country Senior Partner, PwC), Solape Hammond (CEO, Impact Hub), Bola Ajomale (CEO, NASD), Onyeka Akmah (Founder, Farmcrowdy), Anthonio Pinheiro (Director of Operations, Andela) among others.

Innovation & Technology in Entrepreneurship: A Stimulant for Economic Growth was the topic of the panel discussion.

The discuss created an avenue for the panellists to share their unique challenges as entrepreneurs and proffer sound advice to SMEs in attendance on harnessing innovation & technology positively.

NASD, through its enterprise portal, NASDeP, firmly supports all initiatives to ease capital raising for growth enterprises. 

During the programme, NASD expressed its delight to be a part of the award ceremony to the fastest growing SMEs in Nigeria.  In handing out awards to these potentially high growth companies, it seeks to encourage their growth, governance and sustainability.
