It was a gathering of philanthropists, industrialists, business moguls, activists, eminent personalities, media, friends, family and well-wishers to celebrate the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of one of Nigeria’s largest conglomerates, Eleganza Group, Chief Rasaq Okoya.
Mr Okoya hosted over 5,000 Muslim faithful recently to celebrate the goodness of God in his life as he turned 79.
At the occasion, he gave out several items including cloth, packed food, bread, garri and rosary cash gift to the Muslim faithful.
The birthday bash, which was huge, was in two sections; a Jumat prayer service observed on January 11, 2019, and the birthday party held the next day.
The dinner party took place in his magnificent and outlandish Oluwa Ni Sola (God Creates Wealth) Estate at Lekki/Ajah Expressway in Lagos. During the party, wife of the celebrant, Mrs Sade Okoya, was on ground to entertain their guests, who honoured the septuagenarian.
