Publiseer for Startup World Cup Nigeria Regional Competition

Nigeria’s digital content distribution company, Publiseer, has been selected to participate in the Startup World Cup, Nigeria Regional Competition.

All 10 startups selected to pitch will be competing to secure a slot at the Grand Finale in San Francisco, United States. The regional competition will take place on the 9th of February, 2019, at the Civic Hive at Yaba, Lagos. All ten startups will mount the SWC stage to share with the world the problem they are solving.

Other startups selected to compete at the regional competition are Natterbase, EduPoint, WellNewMe, Sabi, SPLEET, Loystar, Social Lender, Afara Partners, and FarmFunded. The competition will be one single round. Each startup will have five minutes to pitch and another five minutes to answer from the judges. During the pitch, the startup founders will talk about their company in simple, clear terms, their market opportunity, traction, and team.

“We are excited to be part of the ten startups pitching at the regional competition, and that’s a validation to the good work we’re doing at Publiseer. All startups pitching at the competition are doing amazing things in their various fields, and we are excited to be pitching on the SWC stage,” says Chidi Nwaogu, who recently emerged the first place winner of the OD Impact Challenge 2019, and was also shortlisted for the Westerwelle Young Founders Spring 2019 Programme.

The judges will look out for the size of market opportunity, if the product solves the problem for their target customer, traction, clear revenue model, strong distribution plan, team, and capital efficiency.

Publiseer is a digital content distribution platform that lets independent African writers and musicians distribute, promote, protect and monetize their digital contents across hundreds of partner stores worldwide, at no charge, with just a single click.
