Royal Exchange Board Holds Emergency Meeting

The board of Royal Exchange Plc has fixed Thursday, June 20, 2019, for an emergency meeting in Lagos.

The meeting will commence by 12 noon and will take place at the Boardroom, Royal Exchange House located on Rahaman Okene Close, Victoria Island, Lagos.

A statement released by the company yesterday disclosed that during the meeting, the board will receive and consider the Audited Financial Statements of the company for the year ended December 31, 2018.

Apart from that, members of the company’s board of directors will receive and consider the Unaudited Financial Statements of the company for the period ended March 31, 2019 as well as any other issue that may come up for discussions.

The firm further said, “In furtherance of our notification on the Nigerian Stock Exchange on April 1, 2019, all insiders and their connected persons are once again reminded that they are prohibited from trading in the company’s shares from April 1, 2019 until 24 hours after the release of the two Financial Statements of the company to the NSE and the general public.

“Members of the board and all relevant insiders have equally been notified of the closed period.”
