Buhari Appoints Ejikeme Executive Secretary of PTAD

Mrs Chioma Ejikeme has been appointed as the new Executive Secretary of Pension Transitional Arrangement Directorate (PTAD).

Mrs Ejikeme was appointed for the position by President Muhammadu Buhari to replace Mrs Sharon Ikeazor, who has been chosen by the President to become a Minister.

A statement issued yesterday by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr Garba Shehu, disclosed that the appointment was with immediate effect.

Also appointed on Tuesday by Mr Buhari was Mr Basheer Garba Mohammed, who is now a Federal Commissioner at the National Commission for Refugees, Migrants and Internally Displaced Persons. He was chosen to replace Sadiya Umar Farouk.

In addition, Mr Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi was announced by the President as the new Director General/CEO of National Information Technology Development Agency.

Furthermore, the name of Mr Adeleke Moronfolu Adewolu has been forwarded to the Senate for confirmation as replacement for Sunday Akin Dare, who was appointed into the cabinet of the President as Minister.

Mr Adewolu is expected to replace Mr Dare as the Executive Commissioner in charge of Stakeholder Management at the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC).

In the statement issued by Mr Shehu, all the appointments were with immediate effect.
