Youths Celebrate Taraba @ 28, Commend Governor Ishaku

The leadership of United Democratic Party (UDP) Youth Forum has felicitated with the good people of Taraba State as the state marks the 28th anniversary of its creation today by the then Military Head of State, General Ibrahim Babangida in 1991.

In a statement released by the Director of Communication of the party’s youth forum, Mallam Abubakar Isah, while felicitating with residents of Taraba on behalf of its leader and governorship candidate in the last governorship election in the state, Senator Aisha Jummai Alhassan, urged Tarabans to have faith in the state and work for the collective peace and entrenchment of democratic institutions and developments in the state.

The forum used the event to congratulate the good deeds of the current governor of Taraba state, Mr Darius Ishaku, passing a vote of confidence on him as a result of his performance so far.

The group equally commended the governor for the many far reaching security measures he has adopted, urging stakeholders and residence of the state to support the government in its determined efforts to rid the state of all forms of crime and criminality.

It also used the occasion to wish the people of Taraba success in all they do and called on the people to rally round the governor and assist him in bringing the much-needed developments to the state.
