Nigerian Breweries to Change Board Composition

One of the leading brewery companies in the country, Nigerian Breweries Plc, is planning to change composition of its board of directors.

A statement issued today by the firm disclosed that a meeting of the board to deliberate on this matter has been fixed for Wednesday, December 5, 2018.

Though the exact change to be made was not disclosed by Nigerian Breweries in the statement, it promised that any changes approved by the board would be made available.

“We hereby notify the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) that a meeting of the board of directors of the company is scheduled for Wednesday, December 5, 2018.

“One of the items on the agenda is a proposal for changes in the composition of the board of the company.

“The NSE will be notified of the details of any changes to the board after the meeting,” the statement signed by the firm’s Legal Adviser, Uaboi Agbebaku, said.
