A senior lecturer at the University of Lagos (UNILAG), Dr Boniface Igbeneghu, has been accused of requesting romantic relationship from young girls of the institution and others seeking admission into the school.

Mr Igbeneghu, who is also a Pastor at one of the Four Square Gospel churches in the city, was filmed by an undercover reporter with the BBC for its popular African Eye programme.

One of the girls used to set up the lecturer is a 17-year, who the lecturer, who is in his fifties, promised in the footage admission if she agrees to ‘play along’ with him.

The UNILAG teacher was heard in the video released by the BBC informing the underaged girl that his colleagues in the higher institution of learning have a place in the school called cold room where they carry out their dastardly act on female students.

Though the management of UNILAG dissociated itself from the ugly incident, the main culprit in the video refused to make comments when contacted on the allegation.

His church is also yet to speak on the matter and what action it intends to take on the lecturer, who pastors one of its branches.
