As part of its commitment to fill key gaps in the healthcare diagnostics space, vis-à-vis the provision of quality reports in the least Turn Around Time (TAT) thereby improving patient treatment time, VCare Diagnostics Limited has established the first State-of-the-Art Reference laboratory to do 100 percent testing in Nigeria.

The healthcare facility boasts of a very dedicated and highly experienced team that has accrued vital experience in the field, ensuring that our mandate to the health sector is delivered.

It was gathered that VCare is promoted by two highly passionate and motivated individuals known as Mr Adiatu Adeyemi Olatunde and Mr Sanjay Mathur, who, between them, have a collective global corporate experience of more than 50 years.

According to further information, the promoters partnered with Techmed Healthcare Pvt. Ltd., Chennai, India & Colorimetr, India to bring their rich experience in the field of Medical Diagnostics and Hospital Lab Management to Africa.

Techmed is a market leader in the field of diagnostics, with a portfolio that runs and maintains more than 80 Diagnostics centers across India, a feat translating to over 2 million samples being tested per day.

Techmed has established itself as a leader in Hospital Lab Management (HLM) and has bagged NABL accreditation in attestation of its quality services. Techmed has won many global awards for innovation in the field of medical diagnostics. The NABL accreditation is a symbol that the organization has met stipulated international quality requirements based on ISO 17025 and ISO15189.

VCare hopes to leverage the strengths of Techmed by tapping into its vast resource pool of highly talented, experienced and specialized manpower to provide the most accurate clinical and analytical recommendations for the test results.

The vision of VCare is to become the Go-To Reference lab for all the B2B & B2C customers by ensuring that no samples leave Nigeria. This addresses the current trend wherein about 40%-50% of the samples are sent outside of Nigeria for testing which increases the TATs and leads to delay in treatment for Nigerians.  VCare offers “Free Home Collection” of samples.

The company plans to open about six satellite labs and 200 collection centers across West Africa in the next two years and in partnership with Crescendo Corporation, India, will be marketing bespoke medical vans to federal and state governments, NGOs, corporates for taking healthcare to the remotest corner of Nigeria.

According to the firm, “At VCare it will be our endeavour to earn the reputation of having the Fastest Turn Around Time and being the most trustworthy & reliable pathology lab in Nigeria.

“It is our firm belief that access to good health should not be a luxury, but a necessity.”
