Anthony Osae-Brown Leaves Business Day, Joins Bloomberg

The Editor of Business Day Newspaper, Mr Anthony Osae-Brown, will be leaving the foremost media platform effective Monday, December 31, 2018.

The award-winning financial journalist, Business Post learnt, will be joining Bloomberg from Tuesday, January 1, 2019.

Mr Osae-Brown is joining Bloomberg as its head of operations in Nigeria.

Before joining Business Day, Mr Osae-Brown worked at United Bank for Africa (UBA) Plc, where he headed the lender’s Writers Bureau.

While at UBA, he ensured that the company’s press releases, features, product information, web content, internal/external publications, internal/investor communication and speeches were top-notched.

He was announced as Editor of Business Day in 2016, replacing the former occupier of the position, Mr Philip Isakpa, who resigned his appointment. Mr Osae-Brown, who is married to a journalist, Mrs Funke Osae-Brown of Luxury Reporters, will be replaced as Editor of Business Day by Mr Patrick Atuanya, another experienced financial journalist.
