Pulse Invasion: Nigeria’s Biggest Campus Experience Returns

Nothing describes youthfulness like music, dance and a fun-filled party. And if last year was a measure, it was one of the ‘bombest’ years for students of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY); Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, (FUNAAB); University of Calabar (UNICAL), etc.

Are you asking what happened? If you just asked that question, then it must be one of two things. The first is that you are an ‘oldie’ in which case we will respectfully tell you to read to the end to catch up on what the young ones have been up to. The second is that you are young, but unfortunately, do not have ‘connected’ friends who can feed you the finest gist in town. In either case, we are terribly sorry for you.

Last year hundreds of students in tertiary institutions had the time of their lives when the Pulse Invasion team swept through the country. MTN Nigeria’s youth proposition, Pulse relaunched it’s campus tour at the Obafemi Awolowo University and blazed through schools with back-to-back five-day extravaganzas!

The fun never stopped and nobody complained. Form learning tricks on saying the perfect word to the crush of your dreams, to exclusive performances from the country’s biggest superstars like Falz, Mayorkun, Harrysongz, etc.

The fun didn’t stop at that, there were also workshops delivered by experts from Google who taught students on how to optimize their ICT skills. For some of the students, the Pulse Talk Series was the most life-changing experience; hearing from a line-up of speakers that included life coach, Steve Harris, Tara Durotoye, Busola Dakolo and Kunle Afolayan. The insights from these speakers were truly unquantifiable.

Wawu! Don’t worry, pick your mouth off the floor ‘cos the best part about all the fun that went down is that it will continue this year! YAAS! The Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria will be the first host for this year from   2nd -6thSeptember, 2019

It will be interesting to see the new spins that the team adds to the event. What’s going to grab our attention like the noiseless parties? What could rival watching Falz give out his shirt to a screaming fan? Who else can’t wait?!
