Game week 3 of the new season of the English Premier League 2019/2020 season kicks off tonight as Aston Villa welcomes Everton at Villa Park at 8 p.m. (Nigerian Time) and will see the Aston Villa team look forward to their first win having spent 127 million pounds on 12 new signings.

Saturday’s major star match has been regarded as Arsenal’s first major test as they face last season runner-up and UEFA Champions League champions, Liverpool at Anfield. The Gunners have suffered 3-1, 4-0, and 5-1 defeats on their last three visits to the Merseyside, the game will kick off 5:30 p.m.

As for Frank Lampard’s Chelsea, they yet to record three points following opening day 4-0 defeat at the hands of Manchester United and a one-all draw at home to Leicester City, they travel to Carrow Road in a 12:30 p.m. kick-off to play Norwich City whose lethal gunman, Teemu Pukki scored a hattrick last week against Newcastle. Lampard will need to work on his teams defence if he is to secure his first win in the league.

Manchester United play Crystal Palace in a 3 p.m. kick-off that will see old friends Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Wilfred Zaha unite, and hopes are high that the Crystal Palace side led by Roy Hodgson might record their first goal this season at Old Trafford.

Another 3 p.m. kick-off will see goalless and pointless Watford host West Ham at Vicarage Road and will see club record-signing Ismail Sarr take part in his first match for the Hornets.

Also starting off at 3 p.m would see newly promoted side, Sheffield United welcome 2016 champions, Leicester City at the Bramall Lane.

Simultaneously, the fourth game that will kick off at 3 p.m. would see the Saints of Southampton visit Brighton. After two games, the Ralph Hasenhuttl side have zero points and hope to change that against the Graham Potter led Brighton Hove Albion side.

Sunday will see defending champions Manchester City change last week’s 2-2 illluck against Tottenham Hotspurs when they pay a visit to Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium.

Two matches will simultaneously kick off at 4;30 on Sunday, the first will see Newcastle, looking for their first point of the season visit Tottenham Hotspur and hope there is no repeat of last week’s disgrace at the hands of Norwich City.

Finally, Wolverhampton Wanderers having shared the spoils with Manchester United at the Molineux and winning the first leg of their Europa League play-off 3-2 against Torino in Italy on Thursday, will welcome Sean Dyche-led Burnley.
