Answering the Most Important Questions About Online Gambling in Nigeria with PariPesa

People have always liked to run unnecessary risks, especially when the reward is worth the effort. This is actually how gambling appeared and became one of the most lucrative attractions.
With the evolution of technologies, gambling has become even more accessible than ever. Now, you don’t need to look for casinos or other facilities with slot machines in your city — you can simply try to win slot money.
Gambling has gained huge popularity even in countries with poor gambling regulations and laws. Nigeria is one of them.
For beginning players from Nigeria, we will answer several of the most important and popular questions.
Can I Open a Gambling Account in Nigeria Legally?
The Nigerian laws regarding online gambling in general are believed to be quite outdated. Although there is the National Lottery Regulatory Commission in the country, many experts say that some necessary amendments are needed in order to make the gaming landscape clearer.
On the whole, current Nigerian gambling laws do not ban or pose any restrictions upon gaming providers. However, the significant thing to notice is that this activity is available for international companies, excluding Nigerian-based ones. The only exceptions are sportsbooks and the national lottery, so you should make an informed decision to find the right platform.
Which Online Gambling Activities are Allowed in Nigeria?
As it has already been mentioned, Nigerian laws don’t prohibit any online gambling activities if the companies are allowed to operate within the country and serve its citizens through the internet. Therefore, Nigerians who like putting their money and nerves at risk can practice such exciting gaming activities as poker games, slot machines, table games, online games, and online sports betting.
The biggest concern here is to find the right provider that will offer reasonable conditions, lucrative perks, and a safe gambling experience. PariPesa is believed to be a top pick on the African gaming market; therefore, Nigerians might also consider this company as their guide into the world of risk and wager. PariPesa made its name, and here is why you should at least take a closer look at it.
What Makes PariPesa a Top Pick for Online Gambling?
- PariPesa offers a vast array of ways to bet and win money online, if you’re lucky enough — from the most common online slot machines to the most diverse betting lines on local Nigerian sports events.
- PariPesa offers numerous bonuses for both new and loyal users, including ones that include cashback. Nigerian players might be especially interested in such promotions as the welcome pack, the 100% first deposit bonus, and Turbo Saturday.
- PariPesa is a great choice for both slot machine enthusiasts and die-hard sports fans. So if you don’t trust your luck but can successfully predict who will win a football match — Enyimba or Kano Pillars — PariPesa might be a perfect pick for you.
Never take online gambling as a way to earn money. Here you don’t earn money, you win it if you are lucky enough, so consider it merely as an exciting form of entertainment.

Tournament Overview
This will be the 15th edition of WAFCON, officially titled the TotalEnergies Women’s Africa Cup of Nations 2024. It is also marked with a historic milestone as Morocco becomes the first country to host back-to-back editions, following its successful staging of the 2022 tournament. This year, twelve of the continent’s top teams will compete across five cities and six venues: Rabat, Casablanca, Mohammédia, Oujda, and Berkane.
Falcons Seeks Redemption
Following a shock defeat to Morocco in the semi-final of the last edition, the Super Falcons look to go all the way to win a 10th WAFCON title. Led by CAF Women’s Player of the Year, Chiamaka Nnadozie, the Falcons will be in Group B, along with Tunisia, Algeria and Botswana. Falcon veteran, Asisat Oshoala, will still be a key member of the team, bringing her much needed experience to push the team forward.
The tournament promises to be competitive with defending champions, South Africa coming back as favourites while the hosts, Morocco, dream of going one better. In 2022, they reached the final and set a tournament attendance record with over 50,000 fans in the stands. Dark horses like Zambia, Ghana, Mali, and DR Congo will look to shake up the status quo.
Group Stage Breakdown
Group A: Morocco, Zambia, Senegal, DR Congo
Group B: Nigeria, Tunisia, Algeria, Botswana
Africa’s most decorated side, the Super Falcons, will seek a 10th title. Despite a lacklustre 2022 campaign, Nigeria are the outright favourites and the highest-ranked team in the competition. Tunisia and Algeria have made recent strides, and Botswana could pull off surprises.
Group C: South Africa, Ghana, Mali, Tanzania
Tournament Format & Stakes
Group winners, runners-up, and the two best third-placed teams will progress to the quarterfinals. The stakes are high—not only WAFCON glory, but also vital momentum building toward the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup qualifiers.
The 2024 WAFCON promises riveting drama: a blend of tradition and underdogs, with freshly crowned champions, veteran nations, and ambitious hosts all vying for continental supremacy. Expect highly competitive and exhilarating matches this July. You can see it all LIVE on SuperSport!
