The payment of 7 kobo per ordinary share final dividend has been proposed by the board of Transcorp Hotels Plc for the year ended December 31, 2019.

According to the hospitality firm, this cash reward would be paid electronically to shareholders on Thursday, March 26, 2020 after their approval at the company’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Tuesday, March 24, 2020 at Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja.

The company further said the money would be paid to shareholders whose names appear on the register of members as at Thursday, March 12, 2020 and who have completed the e-dividend registration and mandated the registrar to pay their dividends directly into their bank accounts.

In view of this, Transcorp Hotels has urged those who are yet to complete the e-dividend registration to download the registrar’s E-Dividend Mandate Activation Form, complete and submit to the registrar, Africa Prudential, or their respective banks.

It also said shareholders with dividend warrants and share certificates that have remained unclaimed or are yet to be presented for payment or returned for validation to complete the e-dividend registration or get in touch with Africa Prudential.

Transcorp Hotels said register of shareholders would be closed from Friday, March 12, 2020 to Tuesday, March 17, 2020 (both dates inclusive).
