BREAKING: CBN Holds Rates at 14% After MPC Meeting

Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Mr Godwin Emefiele announced on Thursday afternoon that members of the Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) unanimously agreed to retain the Monetary Policy Rate (MPR) at 14 percent.

While addressing newsmen after the meeting in Abuja, Mr Emefiele further said the asymmetric corridor has been left at +200 and -500 basis points around the MPR, while the CRR is retained at 22.5 percent, with the liquidity ratio at 30 percent.
