Ngige Meets Striking Oil Workers

Minister of Labour and Employment, Mr Chris Ngige, on Wednesday, met with leaders of the Nigeria Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers (NUPENG).

The meeting between the NUPENG officials and the Minister was held behind closed-door.

Federal Government, through Mr Ngige, is seeking for ways to stop the three-day nationwide warning strike embarked upon by the union today.

At the meeting was president of NUPENG, Comrade Achese and others.
