The National Association of Osun State Students (NAOSS) has appointed the publisher of The Nation Reporters, Mr Sodiq Lawal, at the National Director of Media and Publicity.
In a letter dated April 20, 2024, the group said Mr Lawal was chosen for the position because of his “remarkable dedication and creativity” in projecting the positive image of the organisation.
The letter signed by the national president of NAOSS, Mr Akinnibi Miftau, congratulated him on the appointment, expressing confidence in his ability to deliver as expected.
“It gives me great pleasure to appoint you to the prestigious position of NAOSS National Director of Media and Publicity
“You have shown remarkable dedication and creativity in promoting the association’s activities and initiatives.
“Your experience and proficiency in communication and media strategies makes you eminently qualified for the duties associated with this pivotal role.
“Your passion for serving Nigerian students and your ability to effectively communicate our message to a wider audience are commendable. Your proactive approach and innovative ideas will undoubtedly contribute to enhancing the visibility and reputation of NAOSS both nationally and internationally
“As the National Director of Media and Publicity, you shall be responsible for overseeing all media- related activities of NAOSS, including press releases, social media management, and public relations campaigns.
“Your role will be crucial in ensuring transparent communication with our members and stakeholders. I have full confidence in your ability to excel in this role and to lead the Media and Publicity department with integrity and professionalism.
“Together, we will work tirelessly to advance the interests and welfare of Nigerian students across the nation.
“Your appointment is effective immediately, and I look forward to witnessing the positive impact you will undoubtedly make in your new role.
