The minor fire incident that occurred on Wednesday at the effluent treatment plant of the Dangote Refinery in Lagos has been subdued.
This was confirmed in a statement signed by the Group Chief Branding and Communications Officer of Dangote Industries Limited, Mr Anthony Chiejina.
In the notice made available to Business Post, the firm disclosed that no injury was done to any member of staff of the organisation during the unfortunate incident.
We have swiftly contained a minor fire incident at our effluent treatment plant (ETP) today, Wednesday, June 26, 2024.
There is no cause for alarm as the refinery is operating and there is no recorded injury or body harm to any of our staff on duty,” the statement said.
