The second annual media roundtable of the Pan-Atlantic University (PAU) has been fixed for Thursday, September 12, 2024, at the Lekki Campus of the Lagos Business School.
A statement from the institution disclosed that the programme will kick off by 11 am and will feature a distinguished panel of media experts and opinion leaders.
The school listed the speakers for the event themed Beyond Critique: The Importance of Constructive Media Engagement in Governance and Nation-Building as Magnus Onyibe, Fisayo Soyombo, Seun Okinbaloye, Ayo Mairo Ese, Sheriff Quadry, and Maryann Duke-Okon.
It was stated that the panellists will delve into the importance of constructive media engagement, moving beyond mere critique to propose solutions and contribute to nation-building.
The media roundtable is designed to explore the vital role media plays in holding leadership accountable, fostering informed discourse, and promoting positive change.
The organisers have assured participants that this year’s programme would stimulate discussions on the media’s crucial role in shaping a better society.
