President Bola Tinubu is leaving Nigeria for a two-week vacation in the United Kingdom, a statement from his media aide said on Wednesday.

In the statement signed by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Mr Bayo Onanuga, it was said that the trip was part of Mr Tinubu’s yearly leave.

He is expected back to the country at the end of the working holiday, according to a part of the disclosure from Mr Onanuga.

“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will depart Abuja today for the United Kingdom to begin a two-week vacation, part of his yearly leave.

“He will use the two weeks as a working vacation and a retreat to reflect on his administration’s economic reforms.

“He will return to the country after the leave expires,” the statement issued by the spokesman of the President on Wednesday afternoon said.

Recall that last month, President Tinubu visited the UK after a trip to China for a summit.
