One of the main acts in the Fuji music industry in Nigeria, Mr Sulaimon Alao Adekunle, otherwise known as Alao Malaika, is reported to have been involved in a serious road mishap.
The musician was said to have sustained some injuries during the unfortunate incident, which occurred on the popular Ikorodu Road in Lagos on Saturday, May 13, 2017.
He was said to have been going for a social function around Festac Town, when a heavy duty vehicle crushed the SUV he was in alongside other occupants.
His white Toyota Highlander SUV was seriously damaged in the crash, but escaped death by whiskers.
It was reliably gathered that driver of the truck lost control of the vehicle and rammed into the musician’s car. He was said to have abandoned the truck and ran away, but was quickly apprehended before being handed over to the police.
Malaika was later rushed to a nearby hospital along with his crew, where they are currently receiving treatment.
